LEGAL DEFENSE FUND

Honorary Director, Chuck Wilson, is sponsoring a LEGAL DEFENSE FUND to hire a lawyer for Iron Thunderhorse. After he made the initial pledge of $500.00, he then began collecting money from his friends and has already sent in $753.00, with about $250.00 more on the way (as soon as the snow plows come so he can get to the post office up there in northern Idaho). This he has done by phone and by email, in spite of his own sickness and disabilities, as he struggles with chemo and vision loss.

On November 18, Little Owl opened the bank account exclusively for the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND. Since the bank set up the account under the auspices of the ACQTC, Inc, all donations are tax-deductible. Chuck has also persuaded his accountant friend, also a director of ISL, Mort Homer, to keep a duplicate set of records on the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND, to make doubly certain that records are accurately substantiated for the IRS. Whatever is donated to the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND will be used exclusively for hiring a lawyer for Iron Thunderhorse.

Little Owl (Ruth Thunderhorse) is Chief Financial Officer of the ACQTC, Inc and has managed both non-profit and for-profit corporate accounts for almost fifty years. She will see to it that every penny donated to the Legal Defense Fund will be set aside for a lawyer. Iron will make the ultimate choice of who will assist him as his lawyer because this is Iron's area of expertise.

FUND-RAISING SUGGESTIONS

If you do not have cash on hand, you could sell old vehicles, boats, computers, appliances, motors, baby beds, etc, that are taking up space in your garage or attic to raise money for the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND.
“JUNK FOR JUSTICE” - Clean out your attic, garage, cellar, or storage shed/barn of smaller items and have a yard sale. Hand out flyers about Iron Thunderhorse to educate people and ask them to help. Send the proceeds from the yard sale to the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND.
“JEWELRY FOR JUSTICE” – gather up all your old jewelry (watches, rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, chains) and go to a flea market, antique/collectibles store, swap meet, or pawn shops and convert them into dollars to donate to the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND to SAVE Iron's life.
Sponsor a Tribal, Veterans, or Community Fun-Run, invite celebrities, corporations, etc. to participate, and raise funds while raising awareness. Have a Bake Sale, too, to SAVE IRON THUNDERHORSE.
